New Seances
I have spent years constructing a visual language for New Seances built around decay, alienation and rituals across different mediums. This meticulously curated deep-dive includes a detailed selection of illustrations, collage artwork, mixed media, animations and photographs from the first 5 years of doom and gloom. It aims to meet everyone in the middle because art is for everyone. Listen to your therapist. Question rigid messaging. Be chalant.
In Lieu of a Post Mortem
Ideas to further New Seances festered for years; I've experimented with immersive, estoteric pop-ups including set designs, art market trade booths, and micro-campaigns for local NYC artist causes, which coincided with much of the worldbuilding that has let this persist.
The People In My Panic Room
[New Seances] was initially conjured with "The People In My Panic Room", a mixed media zine that delved into the macabre dirges of identity, especially those surrounding mental health awareness and sexuality. TPIMPR examined the grotesque demeanor of staying silent, and using art as a manifesto for counteracting arcane perspectives and taboos passed down through institutional trauma.
Bound by Fluke Publishing out of Arizona, it sold out several times on Fluke's webstore - accumulating in several hundreds of high-contrast carefully bound zines. Between 2022 and 2025, this scrappy debut zine appeared in the Brooklyn Museum lobby zine kiosk during their seminal "Copy Machine Manifestos" exhibition, stocked (and reviewed) by leading curator of artist-produced zines Quimby's Bookstore in Chicago, distributed at iconoclasic anarchist bookstore Bound Together in San Francisco, held at NYC publishing titan Printed Matter, and showcased in Chelsea art galleries.
The Panic Vault
Compositions that were either created after [The People In My Panic Room] or still been developing during its production were given space after its initial launch in November 2022. TPIMPR's initial collages weren't created with any expectation of a physical zine - I was just having fun making art and using the high-contrast monochromatic approach to learn more about values, balancing color levels, and seeing how much (grey area) I could exorcise from my midtones. The Panic Vault continues the principles of experimentation established with the zine while processing trauma and grief.

DE VOID Zine
DE VOID, named after Bill Bragg's UK zine underground cult classic "LE GUN" cat illustration, is a privately distibuted webzine focused on music journalism. I've actively covered bands in noise rock, sludge, grindcore, avant garde metal, industrial, powerviolence, scramz and more - all while doing my absolute best to champion that kind of bands my friends and I love. The logo for DE VOID was hand painted.
